I find the fact that in most of the drawings you failed to draw the woman's face, suggesting, from a psychological point of view, that you view women as objects.

No, I just suck at drawing faces. I didn't want to insult them by making them look ugly despite the bueaty of their bodies.
 
Due to your horrible spelling, I'm going to assume you meant Buddha artist.
In which case I think your drawings are too female, too skinny, and too hairy.

Nice work. Are you using photos or live models?

If neither, they're very good indeed. It seems like #2's torso is out of proportion, but otherwise you've done well.
 
Keep drawing. You're doing okay, but you really need to work on your anatomy-- shapes, proportions, sizes... Instead of drawing individual parts, think of everything as it is-- in relation to other things. Think of how long the armspan of a person is compared to how tall they are. Think of how a leg is kind of like an oval. Compare the size of the torso to the size of the legs.

Use finger measurements, or even use a pencil to measure if you have to, and eventually you'll get the hang of it visually. Of course, everyone's proprotions are a bit different.

If you can't get a live model, get pictures. Draw, draw draw. And never stop! I've made that mistake a few times, and every time I get rusty again. But if you keep drawing, you'll keep improving.

(PS: this is coming from a former art college student, and one who just reapplied to art college [I had to take a break for awhile due to medical concerns.])

I use photos. I get them from MET art websites.

Yeah, #2 looks more like a man or a tranny or something.
 
Also, for poses, as well as looking at the figure, I find it nice to look at what artists call "negative space"... For instance, how at the bottom, where her legs cross, there's a triangle of where the image isn't? Trying to replicate that shape, when drawing from something.

Considering I'm an engineering student who hasn't taken art classes since my sophmore year in high school, thats a big compliment.

Thomps316: I found it easier to draw subjects with clothes on because there are boundaries to work with. Once I got the hang of that, it was easier to do the nudes. Everybody learns differently, but that's what was easy for me.

Yeah, what I need is a few pics of a woman in a very simple pose, like she is sitting on something with her hands on her lap. Or just lying on her stomach. If you happen to run across anything good, mind letting me know?
 
Draw pictures upside down for a little while. You aren't drawing what you see, only what you think you see. Learn to see in lines.
 
Thomps316: Have you considered getting fashion magazines and trying something from there? A lot of subjects reside in those in all kinds of poses and interesting situations.

Well, I've seen so much porn, that its all the same, clothes or nude. I think nude is easier, since the lines are harder. Not to mention that the subjects are more appealing and easier to focus on. :D

Agreed.

For faces, there are great beauty ads. In fashion magazines, there are great skinny chicks so that you can see the anatomy really well. (And recently there have also been some bustier chicks, as well as ladies with a LITTLE bit more meat on them.)

Also, if you're interested in pursuing art further, there are wonderful books on the subject that have photographs as well as ways to draw them, explaining structure, etc. One of the ones I have is called "Anatomy for the Artist"

Just so you know, I can read backwards, upside down and reversed. Its all the same to me. Nothing wrong with my three deminsional intelegence. But thanks for the tip.

Thomps316: If that works for you, by all means use that. LadyFunkenstein had a good point about seeing the lines rather than seeing what you think you see. When I went to art school many moons ago, we had a lot of exercises where we learned to think with the right brain such as looking at the subject and not looking at what is drawn. An example on About.com.
