I got one of those snack tray things the other day with cheese bits and little slices of turkey and ham. I was having a lil just now and deathwish was looking at me so on a whim I set down a little bit of cheese. She sniffed it then wanted nothing to do with it. Then I set down a slice of turkey which was more interesting. She licked it for a while, then pawed it a couple of times and now she's grooming herself.

She didn't eat a bit of it.

If it were salmon though, she would have been like gracie on a cookie.

I laugh because only one of my cats begs for human food, that's Fred. He loves beef, but ADORES chicken. Although lately, he's been wanting other foods. Around our place, it's common to hear me say, "But Fred.. you dont like <insert food here> only to have him eat it anyway ~ most recently was cream of broccoli soup.

Prinnie wont lower her dignity to eat anything human... except tuna. Lil Miss loves whipped cream and chocolate (which means I have to guard my chocolate milk). Bailey likes anything creamy..but especially onion dip.

My cat Freya likes Italian dressing, lemon wedges, and jalapenos. My cat Ginger will sit there and investigate whatever I offer her until she goes crosseyed, whether she decides to eat it or not.
