Is it just me or is the Republican Party in full meltdown mode? Like rats leaving a sinking ship all the Independants and so called Reagan Democrats have long been gone. The Security Moms finally figured out endless war needs fresh meat. Namely their kids. The fiscal conservatives finally figured out unless you're a oil company or a defense contractor (i.e. Bush or Cheny's personal friends) you're screwed. The religous right finally figured out that after being courted like a socialite debutante they were used like a glory hole slut.

Now all they have left are scared old men desperate to live out their arm chair warrior fantasies.

Sad but deserved.

The issue isn't party or canidate platforms. Elections are not won or lost over platforms. It's personality. Who do you like? Who do you trust? If you think Carter, Reagan, Bush, or Clinton won or lost because of party platforms you don't understand the process.
