anyone read it?? seemed appropriate to post on here.

it was deliciously disturbing, but i need to talk about it with someone.

the book. not the movie. someone talk

I think I tried to read it once. I liked the title. It just did nothing for me and I don't think I finished it. If I did it certainly didn't stay with me much.

I never read the book, but I should- I like Chuck P.'s short stories.

I read it a few years ago, so I couldn't talk about it in detail. But I really enjoyed it when I read it.

I just read Choke by the same author a few months ago and thought it was great. If you haven't read that, do.

A movie adaptation of Choke is coming out soon, and it doesn't look half bad from what I've seen.

I may have read the book. If so I didn't like it. I know I tried but I'm not sure I finished it. I don't like the movie either. Lot's of others do though.

*shrug*

I haven’t read to book, love the movie though, and there are plans to start a fight club at the uni, or martial arts association as they call it. *Shrugs*

So I have heard, and about the others other works too. But I don't have the time to read, dyslexia + English second language = not the fastest reader.

Hm, that is a dilemma. Luckily, none of his books are very long, and if I remember correctly they are fairly easy to read. And even if you don't have a lot of free reading time, reading is a worthwhile venture! Couldn't hurt to take out a few minutes every day for a page or two.

Unless I set a whole day aside for a book I can’t keep interest and quite the read. Haven’t managed to completely read a book in 4 years. The dyslexia has some positives to it thought too, while the writing word eludes me, spoke language I can do just fine with and then some. Something about the brain being wired differently, apparently I have a different concept of what a word is then most people.

I love the book and the movie. I love everything else that I've read of his (which, sadly, isn't much).
