Actually, I've no interest in the Grammys at all. But it is the 50th Grammys and that's good enough reason to party!

Anyone care to join me? They won't be showing the Grammys here till 8pm PST, but hey, we can still start the party.

When my band was on the Grammy ballot in 2006 I was going to watch the Grammy's... but only if we were up for one. We weren't, so I didn't. Strangely enough I would have been kind of ashamed to accept one if we had won it. I think it's a total bullshit award, but I would have had no problem riding a Grammy win to a recording contract. Pragmatism beats hypocrisy when you're broke.

That would make a hell of an acceptance speech. "I'm ashamed to have won this award since it is total bullshit. But I do appreciate it since I'll now be rich. Peace out bitches!"

That was just about exactly what I said I was going to do. My band begged me not to talk if we actually got that far. LOL.

Well, you are supposed to be the silent/scary/mysterious one in the band, right? :D Every member of a band has his/her role to play in addition to his/her instrument.

Edited to add: Oops, forgot one: silent/scary/sexy and mysterious ;)
