Yup yup yup nasty biz that.... my maine coon -american roundface mix bit the shit out of me a few weeks back (my fault as he was new and I hadn't realized that he had a very painful hip and tender belly) I had given him a bath (he just freaking stank!) plunked him in my lap belly up with the cat brush and RIPS SNARL ROAR TEAR FLIP RUN HIDE FOR THREE DAYS........My wrist and forarm looked like some one had used ginsu knives on me not including the deep punctures from very large fangs.
Since I am allergic to neosporin I used tea tree oil and tea tree oil soap to cleanse it.... I know Sarah.... pain like no ones business.... it swelled for a few days and was very tender but luckily no real erking.... hehehe
Besides Rum I would reccommend Advil too.....![]()
As for the big steamroller over here.... heheheh hugely happy cat who has begun adjusting well to being around humans and other cats(He was a feral cat rescue).....He will even let me touch his belly now but only for very brief (10-20 secs) periods of time before he warns me to back off...
Mistaken identity abounds when ya have more than one or two LOL....
I know you do good works with the kitties and other critters so.....bites be damned bring on the furbies - right?
I encouraged lots of bleeding, soaked and scrubbed, propped and medicated.
