Let's face it; every human being has a fundamental right to food, clothing, and shelter. What's healthcare if you're shivering, hungry, and ashamed of your appearance? I propose a plan to shelter and feed the homeless, we're the greatest, richest nation on the face of the earth, and it would be mere pennies per person to make sure everyone within our borders has these necessary fundamental rights and things if they are to have any hope of succeeding.
Now, I know, we have free pantries, the Salvation Army, and other charitable organizations who are there to help the poor, but these are faith-based and in this country we enjoy freedom from religion, so those organizations actually don't help people, because people don't trust religion, but they do trust government, well maybe not the rabid right, but what the hey, it's their charities, let them eat soup...
So, vote for me and I will care for the needs of the helpless under my new plan, which btw, actually saves us money and saves us the cost of helping these poor unfortunates, whom have never done any wrong, they're just victims of a system gamed to favor the wealthy, and let's face it, it's about time we balanced the budget on their backs, and that's precisely what I aim to do!
