It's nice to see you guys too!
I am still in the same place, but a few changes..I got married, got another cat, got a lot busier..
I skim through here every once in a while, but don't usually feel like posting.
Congratulations on the cat!
Heh. See what I did there?
Yeah, this place is pretty much a steaming mess, but there's a handful of good folk still about. Diamonds in the rough, wheat in the chaff, needles in the haystack.
That's all?
I need to get one of those!
Oh, those sound heavenly! I'll definitely pick some up. Thanks!I just ordered one for myself...I can't wait to get it.
Hey when you are in Maui don't forget to eat tons of kona coffee glazed macadamia nuts. I could not get enough of them when I was there, SO yummy, I just wish they would sell them here!
fine. i'll use 3.
But we're well worth sifting for, dammit.
Needle in the haystack checking in.
I'm torn about dinner. Do I drive out and get the wood-smoked Mexican grilled pollo w/beans and all that or do I hit up the Hong Kong BBQ in Chinatown for beef chowfun and suckling duckling? It's a complete toss-up. Mister Pants is on the road right this very instant driving to spend the weekend with me while the cats are away in St. Thomas eating six pound lobster tails. Spiny goodness!
*grins*
Did you dust your face and hair with flour before serving them?

Hey! This is real work when you use real butter!
And, they may be a heart attack waiting to happen but I make them with love!
I had some stupid show on while I was knitting yesterday and what I got out of it is:
If you need a lot of freshly ground pepper, attach an electric drill to the shaft of your pepper grinder...
So, Hester, you may need lot's of PSI, but I'm going for RPM!

That should be standard equipment. I wish I had a dollar for every sorryass waitperson that give a couple twists and looks at me like they think that is enough.
It will be enough when you need a drink of water. Keep going!
You like the RPMs, too?
Real Peppery Moments?
I keep on grinder filled with white and one with black. Then I keep an empty one for when I want to use one of the other Penzeys...
You are hardcore.
I am a foodgasm outcast. I mainly use the big plastic bottle of ground pepper from CostCo. That bad boy will lay down the pepper in no time.

I keep meaning to pick up one of these spice graters so I can have fresh nutmeg.I try to grind as many of the things that are ground on my own because their flavor is better. Maybe if you ground you pepper, you wouldn't need as much. You can get cheap grinders at Ross Dress for Less...
