nutrition facts can be off by 20%?!

You stress way too much about diet.

Eat sensibly and exercise. I've been eating 4 small meals a day (about 300 calories per meal) since before Christmas and I've lost 10lbs without even really trying.

There's no reason to buy a scale and weigh everything you eat. That's just neurotic and stupid. Just eat nutritious food and don't stuff your face till you can't move.

youtube or diet.com is definitely where i count on reliable nutrition information from, especially when she sounds like omg a valley girl.

she proved it...with a scale...do it yourself if you don't believe her...I'm going to. :)

1. i dont recall seeing the display
2. i dont recall seeing proof of the scale starting at zero
3. on the very first think she measured she did not calculate out the weight of the paper wrapping- while im sure it isnt alot it would make a difference on a scale.
4. when she measured the trail mix she only said what the weight of the measuring cup was, never was it shown.

im not saying she is outright lying, i just dont find either of those as reliable informational sources.

well, you haven't exactly proven that you know anything about nutrition...so....

and what exactly is wrong with what I am eating? besides the fact that I'm not eating enough of it...

Take monday for example

Monday:

hambuger and ketchup (no bread)
1/2 cup chili and 5 crackers
some more crackers (maybe 10)

no fruits, no veggies, no dairy, and not near enough of the others. im sure lacking in all sorts of vitamins and minerals. the chicken pot pie while fatty, and has sodium in it also has iron, vitamin a, fiber and protien. even a little calcium.

yeah and just one pot pie had more calories, fat and carbs than all the food I ate...and not even close to as much protein.

not all fat is bad, but yes its a bit fatty, little exercise takes care of that.

same with carbs

how much protein was in yours?

I dare say its healthier simply because its not STARVING your body.. and yeah, if you ate like 2 of these a day, it would be a problem, but if you eat a serving, it's not so bad.
