I am the oldest chick in the class *sigh* and a lot of what the class is learning is preparation for the real world which I have been prepared for and living for too many years...Other then that...did ya know you can get sponge bob square pants scrubs?

I did know about the spongebob scrubs because one of my nurses at my Dr's office wears them. You can get ones with little motorcycle riding teddy bears too.

One of the phlebotomist helped me start an IV this morning. Their knack for finding a good vein leaves me envious.

I have been telling blood suckers which vein to use for years...mine don't like to do much more then blow 2 seconds after you have the needle in... so i figured it was time to get paid for something that comes easy(at least on my own body) for me. If I like it and get a job and can find more hours in a day I might go for a LPN course. Right now I'm doing ECG tech and lab tech as well as phlebotomy. lessee if i manage through this first lol
