Today is a day for wondering what if...what if I had the chance...But it really doesn't do any good. I can't change a damn thing. I only hope those I care about the most know how I feel. I am going to take a chance and tell them all that I love them. I don't know if I'll have ever have the chance again. I don't want to miss the chance I do have.

I'm not sure if you truly love someone that those feelings ever go away. I've loved several times and it ended for different reasons...but I can still say I carry love in my heart for them all. If I had a chance to do it again with them...would I? I think so...it has helped make me the person I am.

There's a great Garth Brooks song... "Unanswered Prayers". Don't know if I believe in the common image of God and all that, but I like that song a lot. We are who we are because of ALL the experiences we have, good AND bad, and the unanswered prayers are sometimes the things that lead to the most beauty in our lives.

Funny you should say that. I listened to that song just recently and thought about how true that is. Those unanswered prayers may have saved us in so many ways. Thank you for making me think about that song again. I do find some truth in it.

...they do...but you have to call them "goals"....and you have to watch out for the goals that envolve hockey pucks...
I don't think you can classify my wishes as a goal...with a hockey puck or otherwise...
but so goes my life...
