How to return to reader comments???

Here's my problem: I read and enjoyed a story;I made a comment saying so and then addressed what I felt were off the mark complaints about the story. Now I can't seem to get back to the comments list to see if anyone replied to me??? Is it designed to be a 'one shot' chance to comment...with no ability to return to the list????

Beats me. If your public comment on a story registered, it's still appended to the story--at the bottom of the last page of the story in the archive.

One possibility is that the author of the story disabled public comments shortly after you left yours. In this case, it might actually help if you named the author and story, so we could take a look for ourselves.

Another possibility is that the author zapped the comment (which they can do). Doesn't sound like you left a comment the author would want to zap, though.

If that was the case, it would still be possible to go back to the comments list though - all but the zapped comment would still be seen, and it would still be possible to leave a new comment.
