merry christmas to all of you. you are all so great durig the year. i dont know how i could have gotten through some tough times at school away from A without all of you on this thread, so thank you and happy holidays.
 
I never knew a LDR was going to be this hard with someone you love so much.

What sucks even more is being young(me 24 her 19) and both of us still living at home so its not like we can just pick up and visit the other person whenever.

Happy New Year Everyone!! i truly hope that everyone has a wonderful new years...it's now time for this subbie to go lay down again. i missed Master's call because i fell asleep on the couch :mad: ah well, He'll call me when He gets off work He said :)

I tried a few times... but you fell back asleep apparently...

But then I didn't get out till almost midnight... :mad:

I hate when I do that.. or worse.. when I fall asleep while on the phone with him. I wake up somewhere around 3 or 4 in the morning to the ring tone of the phone and realize what I did.. *sigh*

*nods* I do that at that computer, when I am waiting for him to turn up on im. I usually wake after he has gone grrrr, to find a message from him. I hate it when I do that! :mad:
 
Happy New Years to my LDR friends!

The holidays were great. I love spending time with my family, in-laws, friends etc. But I have barely had a minute to myself. I hadn't heard Daddy's voice in over 10 days. I finally got some time to myself when I ran out to food shop yesterday so I was able to call him and have a wonderful conversation at last. We go back to routine tomorrow and I am so relieved.

If you use yahoo messenger you can change the tone that it makes when someone gets online or leaves you a message. I changed mine to this really loud annoying sound...lol So I turn my computer all the way up, that way if I fall asleep when he sends me a message it wakes me right up.

I have tried that and it still doesn't work for me..Some nights I am so tired I fall asleep hard and can't hear it and it is right next to my bed...

*nods* I'm a really light sleeper, everything wakes me up..lol.

I used to have that.. but then I have this friend who loves to send 3-4 words at a time..so having that tone makes me go insane.. I cannot STAND repetitive noises...

Apparently, once I'm asleep.. there is no waking me. Master's yelled in my ear before... then gives up... and hangs up and I always feel like poop when I wake up. We tried to think of an appropriate punishment, but then stopped because he realizes that nothing he could do, no restriction he gould give... could ever be worse than the punishment I gave myself...

So now, we try.. try..when schedules allow.... to go to bed an hour earlier..so I'm not so tired. Also, I dont allow myself to lie down on the couch when I talk to him.
