My best friends daughter. She's the child of my heart, my child by another woman. She's two weeks younger than my oldest child, and her mom's single - the sperm donar doesn't even acknowledge her. My friend works two to three jobs at a time, so I have her (my heart child) most of the time. It sucks for both her and her mom, but I get another child out of the bargain. She's my heart child. (She'll tell you that, herself. On the other hand we get some interesting looks when she tells people she has two mommies and one daddy (K.))
 
Silly me, I forgot to pass on the good news. K's getting his hernia surgery on January 2nd. Once he recovers he'll be able to start looking for work again. :nana:

Of course that means for two to four weeks I'm gonna be extra busy, taking care of him, but I don't care. i'm just thrilled at the idea of a regular pay check. :nana:

PS - for those of you who don't know, his hernia doesn't bother him, but he's in construction - no one will hire him as long as he has a hernia.
 
im going home today. i get to see my family again, AND i have plans with A for tonight.

That is good news. I wish a safe and speedy recovery from the surgery for him.
 
My little M is so incredibly wonderful. Amazon screwed up the couple little things he was having them send me for Christmas. He had apprently really wanted me to have something from him to open on Christmas day. So he up & orders me a couple other little somethings! :eek: What a silly, sweet person he is. They're supposed to be delivering them to my parents house on Christmas eve. As if that's going to happen. But it's the thought that counts. Now you see ONE of the reasons why I'm so head over heels in love with him. How could you not be over such a thoughtful person? Now if I could just get him to stop buying me things ... LOL

thanks. im going to force myself to get off the computer, take a shower, then go to bed. im spending almost all day with A tommorrow (mostly running errands, then to a party that night) and i dont wat to be too tired

More good news. All the stuff we've been doing is working - K's blood pressure dropped more, and his cholesterol dropped and his triglycerides REALLY DROPPED. :nana:

That's so sweet... Master did the same here. We had agreed to not go overboard with presents because we each have a budget. But the other day he asks what email I used for my amazon wishlist. I was thinking, he wanted to check it out for my birthday or seomthing. Next thing I know he says I'll have a gift delivered on Christmas Eve because he wants me to have something from him to open on Christmas morning...

he's such a sweetie...
 
I hate those commercials around here (not sure if they're not local) where the woman ends up with, "Fine! I'm calling my mother!"

What the fuck is that supposed to do. Does your husband quake in fear at the threat of your mother in law. Is your mother going to come over and put the smack down on your husband. Or is it the "in law" thing? If that's the case, couldnt he just say, "oh yeah? Well I'm calling MY mother!".

I know I'm putting too much thought into it, I know it's just a commercial, but it really burns my butt.
