Bra sizes in our stories

The key word here is "ask", and if he does and she tells him, it's fine for him to talk about it in the story because he has a valid reason for knowing. The stories that turn me off are when the male MC states that the girl he just saw has 44DD breasts. He has no reason to know that. All he can know is large or maybe larger than he's ever seen before. The other thing that bugs me is apparently most men have no clue about what bra sizes really mean. The "44" has nothing to do with the size of her breasts. It's the measurement of her chest just under her breasts. If she's truly a 44DD, she probably has a lot of trouble finding clothes.
Yeah - at least some guys have no clue about either the inches or the cup letter. They just think the bigger the better. Like GoogolplexZZZ.

I would love to see you work that line into your work. The things you write feel very careful, and that would be such an epic line in the middle of all that.

"A lonely Hindu man was busy ravishing a woman while her husband slept in the next room. She silenced herself with a hand over her own mouth, while her bouncy boobs boobered booberly for the man to enjoy."

Six stars, no notes.

@ADirtyPerv Ask and ye shall recieve!

Lit gods willing, you shall soon read of Banno and how her bouncy boobs boobered booberly!

Oh jeez. I'm looking forward to it. Can't believe my offhand remark inspired a whole story, but I guess I'm happy to be your muse.

There's another one currently pending (Star Crossed Anal) which was inspired by another comment somewhere. It's fun to get the short focused stuff out from time to time while you work on the big stuff.

Coming back to describing breasts, I remember I used to read a lot of stories back in the day that basically started with: Hello I am XYZ, I am XX years old and my body size is 38D-26-36

And I never understood how to process that. Was I supposed to perhaps sit with a chart and figure the (heh) figure out?

This is why I ended up preferring generic descriptors. If a story starts with stats or an intro like that, I either kinda glaze over it, or nope out.

Now there are certain stories (like bimbofication) where the increase in size etc is important, but that's too rare. That's why I just prefer generic descriptors or colourful language.

Bimbos don't need boobilicous booberies or balloon lips. Tightly tethered Hindenbergs don't work for me.

One of the Lit cam girls strolling across the story pages has an amazing wavey brunette mane that catches my eye every time. But her oversized, overdone, fire engine red lips are too distracting.

Well that's certainly an interesting point of view, but to each their own.

This dude just red herring'ed me. He's like, look at the Banno story! Meanwhile the Imli one just dropped and might be the hottest thing I've read this year, and I'm saying this on new year's Eve.

Aww, thank you so much!

And by the looks of it, Banno and her boobering boobs is getting published tomorrow (it already says Published but it's in the Pending section). So something for the new year!

And thanks once again!!!

Yea, a 'girl' dropped into chat one day and announced how petite and blonde she was and how she had small breasts, only 32C. Now 32C aren't massive, but those are gonna stick out real nice and overflow some palms.

In defence of us organic penis havers, once we see boobs of any shape or size, all reason and logic leaves us and we are left stuttering and salivating.

Boobs, breasts, tits of any size are fantastic and it's a privilege to behold them.

And I am sure some of my gay homies have a thing for manboobs too. I once had a gay manager who had a major thing for manboobs, to the point where I once caught him looking at manboobs being sucked on his mobile at work.

I got a very good rating that year

I thought we all burned our bras and have been going commando?

Didn't we?

Could the bra be used as a parachute?

If not they are too small 😜

I'm sort of mid-way on this, because it is overused - and I've used it.

Starting their descriptions saying they're DDs or Es is actually a turn-off for me.

Of course, cup-size is a convenient shorthand for much of your boobage-description.

In two of my works I do mention cup sizes explicitly.

The Long Weekend - FMC:
My inexpert guess was that they were mid-C-cup range. I preferred boobs on the small- to mid-sized range on the spectrum – B’s or C’s. I wouldn’t turn up my nose at bigger – or smaller – ones, if offered, but I probably wouldn’t actively chase after them. Breasts should be a secondary concern, a bonus, not a goal in and of themselves.
and
The Long Weekend - Describing an ex:
“It’s entirely possible she may have been a full C-cup. While I liked them quite a bit, I’m fairly confident that she didn’t tick over into a D-cup.”
and
A Week of Sunrises - FMC:
I’d never really asked, but they always struck me as barely B-cup, maybe not even that big

In the current WIP, I simply describe FMC#1 as being "small-ish" and whose "family tree wasn’t overly-blessed in the mammary department" where FMC#2 is petite and was "the poster-girl for the Itty Bitty Titty Committee."

I suppose I could also add that one reason for the lack of bra-sizes in the WIP is that they were home-nudists and bras were used infrequently during the story. 😇

Size is a major consideration, but so are overall breast shape, size and shape of the nipples, and so are size, shape, and color of the areola.

Cup-size, alone, doesn't capture enough.

As far as stats go, one size doesn't fit all. (So to speak.)

A visual of why cup sizes mean nothing without band sizes as well, and how even that won't give an accurate visual of actual breast sizes to cup/band ratio.

Top row illustrates the cup volume difference across a single band size.

Middle row shows all DD breasts, each is a different breast volume due to different band sizes.

The bottom row shows the different sizes the same breast volume can appear on different body sizes.

The basic rundown is: using bra sizes just plays into the male view of a woman's body and their expectations for it based on ignorance of what the numbers and letters actually mean. When they hear D, B, C whatever, they are probably defaulting to their favorite actress/model/porn star/ex with the same letter size boob, regardless of band size listed. If that is what you are going for, go hard and enjoy writing it!

If you're trying to actually give the reader a visual of your character who maybe doesn't look like a model/actress,there are better ways than a convoluted system that even most women don't fucking understand because even if you go by proper measurements and sizing conventions, chances are you're gonna be a different size in different styles and from different companies and in different colors, because why should shopping be easy?

(Yes, I am bitter about the bra industry and its foolish lack of consistency across products. It would be very nice to be able to go to a store with my measurements and simply know something.is gonna fit instead.of having to try on five sizes around the size you should be to ensure you get the actual right combo in that very particular style and color and brand.)

Me and my flat chest don't have this problem. : P

I find bra sizes as non-helpful as other clothes sizes. Quality control and accurate labeling is apparently for retail wimps. It’s generally fine buying stretchy bras on-line (like yoga or light support sport bras, some of which don’t even use cup sizes), but for anything more fitted / supportive (like running bras or lingerie) the size seems at best a rough guide. My mom says that there used to be more consistency, but maybe that’s rose tinted glasses.
