I hope you get better soon.

I'm slowly recovering from last week, and could finally get something done again - like decorating my Yule tree. And though it's on the balcony, it didn't even make me needing a hot drink!

At least not a hot one. And frankly I better keep to non-alcoholic ones these days, my body has enough to recover from.

But now my Yule preparation list has only 2 things left really: all the wishes to send tomorrow, and then going to library to pick something to read for all the gloriously lazy days!

When we were moving into our house I was carrying several boxes and slipped on the ice. I dislodged a rib without knowing it it and went through the day in a lot of pain. When I went to bed the action of laying down actually snapped the rib back into place and the pain REALLY began. I wound up in the emergency room after an ambulance ride ( I couldn’t get into the car) and it took multiple x-rays (and a shot of morphine) to figure things out. We wound up having to pay the movers to finish packing us since I was out of commission.

Right before we moved, like, an hour before my people were going to show up, a maintenance crew of 4 came and took out the fence. They were fast about it too. The one that was in between the parking lot and my apartment's patio. That, and the buckets of melted snow we had, made it super muddy. I wasn't the only one who ended up falling after that one.
 
Oh it was a super happy Monday evening... My partner is of the slow and steady type, not easily doing anything ex tempore. But yesterday I got him to stay overnight unplanned!

It was a very pleasurable 21h...
