With this statement, Ms. Ortega has pretty much all but admitted she's a racist. It was fairly obvious by now anyway.

The problem with racists is that they live in their segregated little sky bubbles. Never really gotten out and interacted with anyone outside their race or social sphere. They form these stereotypes, but because they have no interaction with these other minority groups, there is no way for these stereotypes to be dispelled.

"Most black people are criminals. Most Asians are overachieving math geniouses. Jews are greedy with money." These kind of people will never allow themselves to meet a law abiding black person, or an Asian struggling with math, or a frugal Jewish person, because they refuse to mix with them.
