Baseball News:

Boston traded P Chris Murphy to the White Sox. Boston acquired minor league catcher Ronny Hernández in the deal. The 21-year-old Hernández hit .251 with four homers and 34 RBIs in 82 games with Single-A Kannapolis this past season.

Boston traded P Alex Hoppe to Seattle. They acquired minor league catcher Luke Heyman from the Mariners.

Boston traded Brendan Bernardino to Colorado. They acquired outfielder Braiden Ward from the Rockies.

Boston acquired infielder Tristan Gray from Tampa Bay for righty Luis Guerrero.

Boston DFA’d 1B Nathaniel Lowe and P Josh Winckowski.

Looks like they’re revamping their bullpen.

Personally I think these games are stupid. They are there to hold fan interest during the long season. They do nothing for me.

Seemed totally unimportant the past two years. And I agree that is the pointto hold fan interest over the long season.
But this year, it would have been nice if the team had something they had a shot at winning.

Maybe, but I think the only thing this team is capable of winning is most three point shots attempted. I’m trying to figure why Payton Pritchard needs to take those horrendous 35 footers when the team has a lead and 20 seconds remaining on the shot clock. I’m not a fan of Mazzulla whatsoever.
