LilKitKat's Second Cumming Thread 💦

speaking of that, some of you may have noticed I am not here AS MUCH as I was before. Its simply due to work, not a lack of wanting to engage with you all.

I am trying to give you time when and where I can though!
Thanks for being understanding everyone!
We fit where we fit when it comes to the greater scope of life. I was wondering how the new position was working out. How’s it going?

(Nice morning picture by the way, I like the expression on your face.)

The new job. Been at this company (top 5 largest company in the world) just a bit over a month now.
It has its pros and cons when it comes to ME

1. I think the founder is a POS. Very smart guy, obviously has done some amazing things. Also generally disliked by a TON of people.
2. It pays me 50k less than my last job. Thats...A LOT. I can feel it on each check unfortunately. I still gwt paid extremely well and am lucky. So..first world problems.
3. My manager and two primary teammates all seem like good eggs. Manager is cool but she admits she is mostly clueless about a lot of stuff which is...odd. Makes me wonder how she got the job. But she is helpful where she can be and is generally friendly and honest etc. Other primary co-worker guy is super friendly. Another teammate doesnt seem to answer her messages like...ever...but she is also really friendly when we have interacted.
4. Other people I have engaged with are a mixed bag. No one is a jerk or anything but some ppl just choose to not reply to slack or email...EVER...and its a bit concerning. Its making me not be able to complete tasks...they have the info or can point me maybe to someone else who does. I cant go around them or above them etc. So its...tough.
5. The projects are not sometihng I have done before per se, and some are interesting and some...less so. Thats a job though, no complaints.

overall, thankful for having this job. Its a contract that likely will end in April or before and come late January Ill start slowly applying to other gigs unless I hear theyll extend me.

I always considered a project successful if I learned one new thing and met one cool person.

(It adds up, so at the end of any given year I’d expanded both my knowledge set and my contact list. I retired after the latter part of my career was 26 years in project management.)

Sounds like you’re doing well (except for the pay thing, but that happens) so keep your eyes on the prize!

Today is my one year anniversary on Lit.

I dont have a special photo lined up, or even a special message.

I just wanted to once again say thank you to everyone. Thanks for spending a small part of your day with me, for taking the time to answer my silly questions, thanks for sending me some intimate thoughts and desires, for engaging with me through moments of joy and sadness, frustration, anger, and more.
Thanks for being my friends.
Thanks for the love.
Thanks even to the daily lurkers that never engage for one reason or another.
Thank you.

🥰😘
Happy LitAnniversary, Kit!
