Following is often as simple as because someone likes something you’ve said - not an inherent sign of creepiness
You could just change your privacy settings so that they can’t see yours either if it’s bothering you - e.g. set so only those you follow can see your activity and/ or put them on ignore. I did that when some became bothersome
But otherwise, yes, it’s possible for people to follow and view you without needing to know them. As long as they’re not in your dms, it’s not something to stress about

I assume they did. I got the notice that I had a new follower and went to look at the profile of my new follower and I was NOT ALLOWED to view.

They can read my comments and my profile and my posts and my recent activity. Tell me why I can't block them. And I can't see anything about them. I don't like that at all. One member can watch me but I can't even communicate with them.

I think you can follow them if you choose, hence the fact you can’t stop them from following you
But the key thing is, you can stop them seeing your activity and profile by clicking on your name, then privacy, then something along the lines of only allowing those you follow to do so. You can also limit who can dm you
Like Pavlov here, desperate to try and provoke a reaction and let us know he’s creeping on us - you don’t want someone like that following you thread to thread

To ignore - click once on his name, and then you can ignore (to the right)
To limit who can see your activity - top right hand corner, click once on your avatar, to bring up various options; go to privacy. At the bottom is ‘allow members to’ - you can then choose from the drop down menu who can do what
