It's not just country music. I've heard some hard rock tracks on the radio by "Bands" whose music is so utterly bland and formulaic that I would swear it was all computer generated. Basically watered-down Linkin park, Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace knockoffs, taking all the elements from these bands and re-packaging it into tepid millennial hard rock swill.

So is "Devil Went Down to Georgia" considered country? Or "Cotton-eyed Joe"? Because whenever those songs came on at a party I saw a lot of "I hate Country" folks dancing and singing along.

Well, it makes sense that Country Music would end up here. Most of the performers and their audience already live almost entirely in a make-believe world devised by major corporations. Lots of Amerikans dress up and talk like they've been conditioned to in corporate-cowboy mythology.

Just walk into any "Tractor Supply" outlet where they bomb you with that Country shit over the intercom while you peruse their Chinese merchandise. It's enough to make you want to kick their CEO in the rocks.

I can’t find anything about that. There’s a bot saying they should, and complaints about fans posting ai art, and a guy who tried to remix their music with an LLM, but nothing to suggest they themselves do it.
