Yes! On Massachusetts and apple picking, but New York isn’t New England (it’s just Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, & Connecticut).
But New England also has New York and Massachusetts and apple picking.

Eastern NY has a very New England feel to it. That region has more in common with New England that the western or metro part of the state. I love that part of NY on the eastern side of the Hudson.

Agreed. New England and update NY have a very similar feel. You can tell the culture and communities start to shift and by the time you get to Ohio and Michigan it’s changed. Difficult to describe as you travel but the key give away is the angled attic window in NE houses. They have this funny angled “Witch” window at the same angle of the roof.

Sometimes that is a good thing. The reality is often not as good as the fantasy. And as for connections, the online part of that is only a small part of it. The everyday reality is what you don’t see. Being able to switch off from a person when you need to, is not something you can do in the real world

Western NY has a very midwestern feel to it. Even the accents of western New Yorkers sounds more like Midwest than anything. When workers built the Erie Canal they came from Midwest cities and settled in western NY and the Mohawk valley.
It all kind of blends in the middle and south of I84 it’s all New Yawk.

Mmmm, I don’t think we have an ice cream flavor that goes with brownies… possibly only cotton candy. So that strikes ice cream off the list. And I’m not in the mood for brownies by themselves… I’m leaning towards apple cake or chocolate bar.

With chocolate sauce, yes!! If I had vanilla ice cream, I’d definitely go with that!I’m an absolute sucker for a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream on top. I might have to make this fantasy a reality
