Seeing all the posts about how chilly it is in various locales kinda makes me yearn for cold weather.

It’s always such a mix of emotions. Sadness that summer has ended. Forboding of cold dark winters. But the warm nostalgia kicks in. The evenings are wonderful with a little fire in the fireplace to relax and wind down with drinks in the evenings… the seasons are amazing!

I hate the summer, so I'm typically relieved when it's over. Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons, which is why I miss experiencing them living in Cali.... just not enough to move back to the taint of Satan that is the midwest.

Yeah, pretty much. My immediate family no longer lives there, so other than visiting some cousins, I don't really have a reason to go.
