It was all so new. We both enjoyed the process, and over time improved here and there, learning new techniques. In later studio type pics I bought some remote flash devices which gave a very good effect...they went off at the same time as the camera.......I still don't know how exactly but they worked well. Don't have them anymore BUT I still have the first primitive lighting set up! and it still gives a good result when needed.

They may have been early attempts, but to my eyes they look fantastic. Both the model and the actual photos.

I just love these monochrome pictures. They will always be timeless and will always keep amazing me with their sculptural presentation of Vanessa’s beautiful and classic body lines whether it is the full body or details like asscheeks, legs, breast, pubic hair and vulva - all very delicate and seductive and as time passes they will stay fresh and crisp and extremely sexy. I wouldn't take that as a criticism Amiche, it's certainly a compliment. I'm always happy to have my face in the photos but Richard looks at each image to see what effect he wants to create, and often that is a heavy crop. Sometimes that's just to get the best composition or to focus on particular lighting, but other times he's trying to create a bit of mystery.

Sad that it is, that's some pretty tasty looking gelato.
And hopefully the size difference is explained by perspective.... that's often been my excuse.

What I find lovely about you two is the fact that You still look at Vanessa and think I must capture that image, and Vanessa cares enough to respond. It makes the candid shots special. As for the Monochrome, yes I can see that you are getting there. I remember the old days of B&W TV when actors wore colours they wouldn't normally wear because more subtle colours didn't work in Monochrome. On that I remember is using black lipstick instead of red. In those days women wore red lipstick all the time but the contrast was lost in monochrome. I look forward to relishing your efforts.
In a market in Combourg in Brittany I came across a chap selling Photographs that were completely monochrome except for one feature which he'd coloured with coloured pencils. Most effective because the colour seemed out of place it drew your eye to the picture. Sorry I'm rambling, Just take it as an indication of how much I enjoy your work.

I didn't know that about the black and white TV shows, Ken .. that's really interesting .. and yes, that gets to the heart of the reason for using a monochrome camera.

It's possibly time for a bit of retro. I'm guessing there would be many who have never seen these.

The pics were taken back in about 2009 at One Mile Beach Port Stephens. In those days we had a holiday place not far from this beach. Samurai Beach, a legal nude beach, is at the northern end of One Mile beach, around a headland. This is where we took many of our nude beach pics and spent most of our time.....lots of time.

Seems like only yesterday, mmmm, maybe not quite , it was a long time ago but very well remembered.

Visited WA in my teenage years (when ever they were) and went to Rottnest ......loved it; must be ten times as crowded now.

We've talked about going over for a short trip, and other places, but we're waiting for the bloke with the crowbar to come and shift us out the front door!

I was reading Richard's comments about the variety of responses received by his and Vanessa's loyal followers.

Well, for some reason, while looking at Richard's brilliant camera work and the images of Vanessa's beautiful body, I thought of how you two could create your own Bond-style series of movies.

Vanessa, of course, could easily star as:

With Richard as director, I am sure you could easily come up with your own versions of some Bond movie titles:

And, of course:
Octopussy!

Just saying....

Just been down the beach today. It's beautiful unsurprisingly.
The coast down the South West is pretty nice.
The memories you have of Rottnest would be a good facsimile of down here.
Mixture of granite or limestone.
Really is a beautiful part of the world.
We are lucky in Australia.

Many thanks P. Many years ago I did a trip down that South West coast .. and yes it's beautiful, quite rugged compared to our coastline. We are indeed very lucky here I agree.
