What exciting has happened in VA today? Anybody have any interesting stories? I live in an active adult community. It is anything but active adult. The most exciting thing yesterday was a young woman, most likely somebody's granddaughter, was out walking and passed by me as I working on the front yard.

Well I just returned from doing my “ Civic Duty” & voting today. Tomorrow will take advantage of the weather & head up on the Parkway for some “ leaf peeping”. Thursday night some Irish Sessions & a pint or two. Saturday will be at Frontier Culture Museum for their Inaugural Cider Fest.

Where is Bacon's Castle? I love the Renaissance Faire in Crownsville, MD. Great facility.

Surry County. Right off Rte 10. This is the first year, and online tickets are sold out. So hopefully next year will be bigger, and they can accommodate a real crowd.
