Yeah, crazy. I mean as a Canadian I was really hoping for the Jays to win as it's been a long time since they have. I don't trust the management group though in Toronto, haven't in a long time. So I doubt they'll do enough in the offseason to return there next year. Thanks I’m still in shock.
Jays played amazing. Great series and great team.
But yeah wow
Unbelievable sequence of events:
Pages crashing into Kike’ to save game
Rojas throws out runner at plate
Double play to end 9th
Double play to end 10th (maybe it was 10th and 11th?)
Rojas solo homer to tie
Smith solo homer to take lead
If one of those things doesn’t happen, Blue Jays probably win
Not to mention Yamamoto…
And I also thought they would take it back in the 11th.
Just unbelievable
That throw out at the plate was so close as well, with his foot coming off and then back on like a split second before the runner got there.
Crazy game. Yamamoto obviously earned that MVP
I know quite a few Dodgers fans, and thankfully they are all gracious in the win.
But, back to back for the Dodgers, very well put together team.
