This is the last day of cool dry weather. It’s been so nice as just a very typical autumn weather. The wind was wicked yesterday and nearly blew my dog and I away.

Drivers . Yesterday someone just was so impatient they just barged across 2 laces of moving traffic. I hit the brakes and horn and they didn’t care! .

Ppl are so selfish and in a hurry these days, it seems. I almost got hit yesterday as a car just blew through their red light. I had a green left turn arrow and would have been hit had I not hesitated just a bit. The po-po was in the lane next to me. I didn't see if he u-turned to get the jerk. One can only hope!

Toe is good, swelling and bruising going away, but now my heel hurts when I walk on bare floors? Doesn’t hurt when I walk in any shoe…Oh the joys of age.

Today is rest day, need to get my docs signatures to send off to the home office. Should be signed back off in short order.

Cooked for the tribe last night, big hit all around. Cheesy pasta dish that hit the spot on a windy misty night. Got momma’s new TeeVee set up…not a simple endeavor anymore. Between the Q-code set up and updates…I punted and let the kids set it up.

The new powder room looks fantastic BTW!

Maybe see a podiatrist? It could be plantar fasciitis or Achilles tendonitis. Both could cause those symptoms.

I love it.
Since it's base is mostly mushroom, I add @ 1 tsp of Shiitake powder at the end to up the umami factor.
I've about a half dozen batches in my freezer for this winter.

This sounds really good!

I have a whole lot of my chicken stock in the freezer. I'll be making more soups and stews this fall and winter.
