My personal style (to the extent that I have one) is dorky-casual. Usually jeans and a nerdy t-shirt. Today's shirt is The Green Dragon Inn, Bywater. When I'm working, I have to keep things a lot more formal, but I do many, many pairs of nerdy, artistic, pop-culture-y socks that I can wear, since the rest of my work clothes are very rigid and not at all conducive for personal expression.10.22.25
Personal Style
Do you have a personal style? How would you describe it? How did you craft your personal style? I am thinking a lot of how you present yourself (clothing, home decor, way of being) but it could also be how you carry yourself online - things that are symbolic or specific to you. If you don't have a personal style, why not? What holds you back from expressing yourself more? Is there a style you wish you could pull off? Have you ever undertook a major change in your personal style?
There isn't really a style I wish I could pull off? I'll wear whatever I like usually, and if it works it works, and if it doesn't who gives a fuck? The only thing really holding me back is that I can't afford everything I wish I could wear. I'd probably be a sucker for tailored three-piece suits if I had the money for them.
The only major change in personal style that I can remember is going from middle school to high school. Started wearing sweatpants less often and jeans more often. That's about all I can think of.
