Going to be my life soon. Go to work in the dark, leave in the dark and if I don't get out the building at lunch, won't see daylight

It's so important to get daylight on your face, even on these dark days, or get a SAD lamp.

because natural light is one of the most powerful mood boosters. This is because the light hitting your eyes causes a reaction that sends a message to the hypothalamus – the part of the brain which controls circadian rhythms – telling you it’s morning. It amps up dopamine and serotonin, and suppresses melatonin levels so you don’t feel sleepy.

Even 10 minutes outside helps suppress melatonin, raise serotonin and dopamine, and regulate your circadian rhythm.
