Good morning denizens of the diner. Good to see people sleeping in. Today is time with life companion and a few good friends. Then college football.

I can’t believe we are in a drought. Even after a week of rain. There leaf coolers are less vibrant so it must be the drought.

Today I finished the stenciling in the powder room. I need to finish cleaning up in there and then can start moving things back in. When I get it done, I'll post some pics.

Sorry you got little sleep, but hopefully you’ll take a nap awhile watching football (and miss all the boring parts)

I have only recently started listening to LF. I had four woulda been frat brothers killed in a single car accident way back when coming back to school from a LF concert road trip. That was my first mass tragedy in my life. I realized later that I had absorbed some of the drama from the other brothers and set aside my ambivalence to LF. I have a lot of their catalog on my phone now and it appears regularly in shuffle mode.

Oh man…that’s a tough one. I tend to OD on bands at different times over my lifetime. I go in phases and looking back, I’ll associate those phases with good times or bad. Certain bands will trigger those thoughts about an old flame etc…

I’m just rambling now…

Rested my big toe yesterday, but managed to do some light yard work. Lit the fire to smoke out the late season mosquitoes and then pulled the cork on a bottle that was long overdue to be uncorked. Sat by the fire as the temps plummeted into the low 50’s till SWMBO came out and relieved me of bottle privileges.

I reminded her that wine is good for the heart but she seems to think the whole bottle is bad🙄. I tried the doctors orders route to no avail…

Off to momma’s to put some lazy kids to work on hedge clipping. Everyone enjoy your weekend! Yer HMMZ——

I tended to OD on some bands at some times of my life. Some were attractions/concessions and others were because I only had a few tapes and that's what I owned so I played it/them to death. Now that money isn't an issue, I listen to a wide range of stuff set on shuffle.


Toys picked up. Dr. Tyler declined to answer her fucking phone. Quelle surprise.
