Ditto! We know what thread we are in just by the number of us having to use the prep. Oh the joys of being slightly senior. I've never stayed awake for a colonoscopy i prefer the propofol solution.
You can order online; if you're not a member you'll pay a bit more. They'll deliver. Backwoods even! Thanks!
Yes, I brought back vanilla from Mexico years ago, but what is this Costco of which you speak?
I'm from the backwoods Ozark Mountains.
I looked there, too. Amazon didn't have the same size buckets in pink.Yeah, that sucks. Amazon won't do you any better and you'll have four more that you won't be needing any time soon.
Yep!That’s bullshit!
You might want to get that toe checked. You might have broken it!Hey RJ…I think I read somewhere they had like 17 different cars? Some were just for the stunts…the jumps specifically. Then they probably had a few for takes? I could of course be confusing this with the Bandit’s TransAm…
Cool find either way!
When SWMBO delivers she throws strikes. Concert last night was F’n epic! Little Feat and Tedeschi Trucks Band! Little Feat opened up and was joined by Susan and Derek and several of their horn section, then TTB did their own soulful thing! We’ve seen them several times as they like to whistle stop in our town. We’ve even driven up the capitol city to catch them. Unless you’re in St Augustine, where they’ll do two more shows, they’re hanging it up till next April.
Killed two birds w one stone yesterday. Momma’s last radiation and then took her to see her brother. Had a nice visit and then lunch. Pulled a Tim-the-tool-man-Taylor and stubbed my big toe so hard against the stairs…it’s all black this a.m. so going to skip the walk and rest it…
The HMMZ continues!

Sounds like a fun time! These bubbas! They were fantastic. Lowell has long been gone and I think maybe only two or three original members are still around, but they’ve kept the tunes coming since ‘69 in one way shape or form! The new version of Spanish Moon sounded just like the original off of Waiting For Columbus
SWMBO and I know the drummer that is with them now!
Here’s Tedeschi Trucks Band in Red Rocks last year doing a Zep tune. This is the current lineup we saw last night. Their backing members have changed over the years.
For some reason, I've been a day ahead all week.Ya having a hard time accepting Thursday
Poor Toby! I hope it's nothing too serious and he's back out there with his brothers soon. Speaking of, those boys are gorgeous!Well mixed news from the pack as we work through the season. Sadly Toby had a swollen hock and infection so it was a trip to the vet, painkillers, steroids and antibiotics. He now has two weeks rest.
But without him Ben, Sam, and Jack have stepped up,and done some amazing work. In particular Jack is developing brilliantly and finding birds off his own back.
Then we have Will, a lovely dog one to one and coming along superbly. Put him with the others and he is a near 9 month old thug. He is huge for his age and simply batters them at every opportunity. He is put in his place occasionally but largely tolerated as pups are lol
I love Bonnie Raitt! I bet that was a great concert!LOVE me some Little Feat!!!
I got to see their first reunion tour on a riverboat in NOLA, many years ago.
Bonnie Raitt got up and did a couple of songs with them... good times for sure!
We're getting an atmospheric river now. Lots of wind and rain. In the mountains it's snowing like crazy! No time for a catch up.
Rushing to get stuff done before winter, and then a snow storm hit for a few minutes while I was driving today. So I can officially say it has snowed.
Of course, I'm really feeling the need to get stuff done now!
Dogs know good people!Daisy Poodle arrived at the farm, all chocolatey Labrador and about full grown. She's built like the ideal 'Murrikan football nose tackle. She had been a chicken-killing cow chaser, so she needed a home and gone from there. She didn't take to my tone of voice right off (I can/do sound firm) and I had to make a point to speak to her quietly. Tolerates the firing of arms, backs up to body dog - he's the show and she's the thug - and I don't wonder who is in charge of everything when I'm not there.
Awww. That's sad she had a refracturing.Dr. Tyler at the vet. Bone vet. She has rebrokenerized one of the breaks that had (sorta) healed from the break(s) winter before last. The ones with all the fucking drama. She doesn't get that she has to keep her shoulders square with her pelvis, so No Twisting at the Waist. Anyway. This time, he advised shooting some goobledigoop into the crack - a mixture of construction adhesive, Portland cement, and small aggregate. That'll take care of the fracture and the pain in one clip. He did call in more dope for her. She is only tookening half a pill, cheap drunk she is. He can get her into the garage in a week or two, after her PCP lets her off the blood thinners.
I bet you're glad to be home for the weekend.Yeah? Good. This guy seems okay.
Okay, off to hit the rack. Got a round trip to Worktown tomorrow and a day's work and gotta check what they fucked up in the last building. That's just piss-poor luck.
That’s great!I SLEPT yesterday!!!!!
And now it's over! When you wake up, it will be the weekend!I am working
It still sucks
But at least its Friday
How was it? Did you wow them?Well just heading out to speak at a dinner… gonna be fun folks!
One word - ebooks!I ended up getting spin magazine, which I probably haven’t read since the mid 80s. It was good light reading on the airplane.
And a Barget at only $14.78!![]()
That is amazing!I organized a volunteer event for work. I got up super early to get coffee and a bunch of bagels.
About 100 volunteers picked 11,000 pounds of potatoes and 15,000 pounds of turnips. All go to people who are struggling with food insecurity (ie, they can’t get or afford fresh food.)
Wow! I'm exhausted!Last 2 pans of pumpkin brownies i the oven.
1 pan for lasertoma event in the am
3 pans for tge church chili cook off at the end of the street
1 pan for the workers at trick or trest for tge village
I will be attending all events
Also...
Last load if 4 loads laundry in, garbage out to the trash, dishes done (just need to make the frosting and do thise dishes)
