50 years from now, tour guides will say, "In 2029 this was a half-finished construction site, with garish casino-style decor, funded by billionaires who felt it was a better use of their money than feeding the hungry or cancer research or the environment. The cost overruns were enormous and millions of dollars in taxpayer money was spent cleaning up the mess and restoring the building."Just imagine all the fancy balls the next democrat president can throw for her Hollywood producer friends 50 years from now.
Cool.National debt skyrocketing = subtracting value.

That photo is of the Truman-era reconstruction. Obama's basketball court was fit into an already existing tennis court.

Garish decor: checkNice story bro.
Your country does seem to be going the Imelda Marcos route!Don't invest in Trump Griftocurrency.
Don't buy shares in agricultural industries or Breitbart.
Buy stock in companies that manufacture gold paint.
Thanks to a simple search, here are a few more reasons you can use to test the integrity of your Depends:The White House isn't just "a building." That's why Trump promised the construction "won't interfere with the current building." Which it is doing.
Trump isn't the owner. He's just the current tenant. That's why he has to go through the national capital planning commission, which he apparently hasn't.
But he doesn't seem to care about rules, whether they were rules about racial discrimination when he was working with his father in real estate, or rules about sexual assault or rules about extrajudicial killings.
As for getting to see it, my guess is the next occupant will have that garish casino decor removed pretty quickly, so you'll only see it in news videos. Remember what happens to all those banana republic autocrats who build palaces while their people go hungry (or, in Trump's case, have their healthcare bills jacked up sky high).
Ballroomgate! Impeach!
#NoBallroomDay
Adding a ballroom to the white house give the present and future presidents the ability to entertain dignitaries with class. You suffer from TDS, nothing new there.
Virtually every President since the early 19th century has altered, refurbished or expanded some part of the White House.
Adding a ballroom free of charge for taxpayers is a gift you fucking TDS laden clown. You Biden ass licking Bidentards are in a class of your own when it comes to stupidity.
It's no charge to taxpayers.
You can thank Pelosi and Obama for citizens not being able to afford healthcare.
You can blame pussy whipped Schumer for air traffic controllers not getting paid.
Defeated again, losers. Thanks to a simple search, here are a few more reasons you can use to test the integrity of your Depends:

It still amazes me that people like this idiot and Derpy haven't been killed by their own stupidity. That photo is of the Truman-era reconstruction. Obama's basketball court was fit into an already existing tennis court.

 Rightard
 Rightard

When ya don't use taxpayer money ya don't need bids, ya don't need GSA and ya don't need NPCP authorization.
According to recent economic data we are experiencing robust growth and low unemployment numbers. GDP growth could top 4%
Rightard fails to read the room (ballroom)…
The country is facing the worst economic crisis in history (thanks in large part to DonOld & the MAGAt republicans), and DonOld is PRIORITIZING building a gilded ballroom…
Meanwhile:
All the examples of changes to the White House Rightard provided (outside of DonOld’s gilded ballroom) occurred in reasonably stable economic times for legitimate reasons, or were fairly modest changes.

We. Told. Them. So.

I knew a lot more than you did. I knew that just about every President has made changes to the White House. I just didn't know the particulars off hand. You obvious knew nothing. So I guess your knowledge is limited to what you can copy and paste from quick web searches?
Anyway, thanks for mentioning President Truman. He was insistent that as little damage be done to the structure as possible. So much so, that when large heavy machinery was needed for the structural repairs, and workers wanted to dismantle an outer doorway, Truman had them break the equipment down into parts, take them through the door and reassemble them inside instead.
Apparently Trump the "builder" is even less competent than Trump the "executive"!
