Leftists Feign Sympathy For Autistic Babies They’d Happily Abort

Please cite examples of where I might have engaged in those claims you've made. :)

You said you “assume because of…”

That means that you have taken the position held by people you share a political agenda with rather than critically reading the actual findings (or lack there of) in their own reports.

Do you open your shit sandwiches and lick them like the stuffing of an Oreo?

Harvard shares my political agenda? That's a huge reach. Let's just say I trust their medical opinion more than I do yours. :)

You have failed to explain rfk's political motivation for bringing light to the Harvard report. :)

I’ve already told you that I don’t know what his motives are for saying what he says.

I did show you how the report you cited doesn’t indicate that Tylenol is a danger unless it’s used improperly.

You didn’t catch that, did you? 🙂

Who's deflecting? :)
thatd be you.
you said I feel you are religious. I said show me where I said that.
You have then since done anything but answer it and tried to turn the question around.
Im sticking to the topic.
Hence, you are deflecting

Then you assume it's politically motivated. Lol. :)

I’ve been waiting for a conservative to cite where science has shown that Tylenol causes autism.

If you want to spin and duck a real issue that’s on you.

Taking Tylenol during pregnancy associated with elevated risks for autism, ADHD

A Johns Hopkins study analyzing umbilical cord blood samples found that newborns with the highest exposure to acetaminophen were about three times more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder in childhood

Nov 5, 2019
A new study from researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has found that exposure to acetaminophen in the womb may increase a child's risk for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or autism spectrum disorder.

The researchers analyzed data from the Boston Birth Cohort, a 20-year study of early life factors influencing pregnancy and child development. They found that children whose cord blood samples contained the highest levels of acetaminophen—the generic name for the drug Tylenol—were roughly three times more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder later in childhood, compared to children with the lowest levels of acetaminophen in their cord blood.

Their findings were published last week in JAMA Psychiatry.

You worldview was created mostly by two men: Anthony Fisher and Richard Fink.

You probably have absolutely no idea who these two men are or how they created your worldview for you.

People with less experience of other cultures are more scared of other cultures.

Almost all media is the USA is owned by extremely rich people. They completely determine the discourse.

You think of other human beings as cockroaches. That makes you a cunt. And you don't really understand why that's a problem.

The evidence is that if tests are carried out on people displaying signs of neurodiversity, neurodiversity will be found in higher numbers than if no tests are performed. Societies where more Tylenol is consumed also perform more testing.
Autism is found in societies where people put cheese on their beefburgers. Where people cannot afford to eat cheese and burgers in the same meal they cannot afford testing. Therefore autism is caused by cheeseburgers.

Okay, here you go. Turn on your brain:

The previous studies showed a correlation (not causation) of heavy acetaminophen use and autism, with a heightened risk during the earliest stages of pregnancy.

Acetaminophen has a half life that would not last from the first trimester to birth (when the umbilical cord samples were taken) so the cord samples reflect only recent use of the medication.

Now try to grasp this:

* Pregnant women who have high fevers are more likely to have children with autism regardless of whether or not they have taken Acetaminophen.

* Acetaminophen is recommended for pregnant women who have high fevers.

From the study you cited:

“The present study has some limitations. First, it only included a 1-time measurement of cord acetaminophen metabolites at birth. Given that the half-life of acetaminophen in adults is less than 3 hours,44 the cord plasma measurement may at most reflect maternal use of acetaminophen during the peripartum period.”

But hey, if Trump and RFK Jr say so, it’s good enough for you. ✅

It's not really worth anyone's time to discuss political issues with people who have bought into Trump.

They are completely in the grip of tribal thinking. If you're not in the tribe then, no matter what you say, however reasonable or accurate you may be, you are a threat and - before you even open your mouth - you must be wrong.

Have you not noticed how important it is for them that they 'don't care about your feelings'? Have you not noticed how important it is for them to be 'winning'? That they are constantly trying to 'own the libs'?

That is pure tribalism. That is what tribalism looks like.

A lot of democrats think that, if they can just put their arm around a republican and explain how the world really works then they'll see the light and come around to your way of thinking. While the republican thinks the democrat is literally evil and must be destroyed because they're a mortal threat to their lifestyle.

When you talk to a Trump supporter, you think you're having a discussion. But you are not. You are presenting a threat.

I mean, have you noticed how much time you spend arguing over facts - just trying to establish a simple baseline of what is true and what is not? It's nearly impossible.

If a fact makes the tribe look bad then it cannot possibly be true. It must not be accepted.

A while back I posted a few photos of masked goons from authoritarian regimes - Iran, Belarus, Myannmar etc - and then showed a similar picture of masked goons in America. Not one of the rightwing posters here had a single thing to say about that. It didn't fit their belief about themselves and so it was simply ignored, discarded, not confronted.

Ultimately, do you think you can really have an argument with someone who is capable of this conversation:

'Would you stop supporting a candidate if they were a convicted felon?'
'Yes, of course'
Trump becomes a convicted felon.
'Will you now stop supporting Trump?'
'No.'

Put simply: You cannot destroy a cult from the outside.

I was once a conservative kid - at least I was until I started thinking critically and not just swallowing shit sandwiches like the MAGAs do.

The guy who wrote the song Amazing Grace was once a slaver ship captain.
“I once was lost, but now I’m found. Was blind but now I see.”

I hope that somewhere int the back of their minds is a brain that won’t let every one of their logical gaffs slip. Something will catch, some reflection where they see they are regurgitating someone else’s lies, and maybe, just maybe, they will decide to make choices based on facts instead of their political agenda.

Come on MAGAs! Have the courage to think!

I’ll spell this one out for you too:

RFK Jr has been cherry-picking studies that he thinks will support his position, at least on face value. This is the opposite of a scientific approach.

Worse are the misleading headlines generated by MAGA “news” outlets claiming the verdict is clear when even the strongest studies in support of a Tylenol correlation say more study is warranted, not that cause has been proven.

Sure, it's not impossible. It likely requires travel (and I don't mean going on a cruise) or being young. Or reading books rather than looking at the internet.

Or, as history shows us, to be betrayed from within the cult (ie committing suicide in the bunker or, preferably, fleeing abroad to Moscow or the UAE...though we're a long way from that yet...).

These guys are old men, for the most part. They aren't changing. Asking them to think is asking them to be different from their friends and family. Why would they do that?

It's far more important for people to feel part of their tribe - and all the security and certainty that brings - than to think differently.

Um, Saint_Ann (the average MAGAt on the PB) is quite old (by their own admission) and is quite likely in the throes of geriatric dementia (which explains Saint_Ann’s terminal delirium).

I wouldn’t count on an “Amazing Grace” moment from that old dog (or any of the old PB MAGAts).

For reference: John Newton was 25 years old when he saw the light and converted (he was 47 when he wrote “Amazing Grace”).

Just sayin'…

😑

We. Told. Them. So.
