The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Apparently my gall bladder is full of non calcified stones.
Gallstone pancreatitis can kill you... and/or make you very sick. I dont want to get that ever again. She offered admission and i said no because dad was sick.
The surgeon he is referring me too is not a hack. We will see what he says. If we r taking this sucker out lets do it before i have to pay deductible again...just saying
I hear ya. My ex had pancreatitis a few times. (Mostly self induced from drinking…) but I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

You take your best route to getting this done!

And done right!

Up. Coffee. Only two nights here this week. Things are beginning to come together on the Dr. Tyler front. We're getting some ride options for her. She's still being resistant and a bit defiant, but a lot of that just means that she's still breathing.
That’s good news. I know older people are resistant to not being able to do things themselves.

I know I would be…

Should be an easier weasel day at the weasel palace. We'll see.
⬆️ I’m just imagining the weasel palace as a bar or weasels malcontents , misfits, weirdos, freaks and other castoffs from society all hang out.

Like in a good way.

According to Junior, the good little doctor has lived a very sheltered live and operates under the delusion that she's the smartest person in the room.

Hmmm, no.

Getting dressed-n-ready for another exciting day herding recalcitrant weasels.

Glad to hear she is doing better and thus so are you.

Good morning denizens of the greasy spoon. So many of you are up already getting ready for work. One day at a time and suddenly you are retired.

Wishing MissK a pain free day until surgery, Wonderer an easy day until you return home (nothing like home), OM thanks for themes, Wat for a good rounding up weasels (is that like herding cats) and all others I missed (sorry).

What? No fireworks at 4am??

I’m really disappointed in the galvestonians! Galvestonites? Good citizens of the city of Galveston?

Anyway… I’m disappointed!
When was I here last... Friday... Saturday? Hell, I can't remember, but since I don't sleep a lot, I saw one that night around 9 or 10 o'clock.
I have no idea what they were celebrating. 🤣

Worksite weasel’s rolling in. A machine is running. Thank you for the well wishes for the good Dr Tyler. She claims she is doing OK this morning. I always wonder about her morning reports, if they are fact or deflection. No matter. Gonna start with the schedule for the next job today. We’ll see how that goes. It will require heavy thinking. Surely I jest.

Robotic or laparoscopic I'd guess. Should practically be an outpatient thing, I'd guess. That's a pretty common surgery. It's why @Wonderer67 first surgeon just said it needs to come out. Like a flat tire to an auto mechanic, it just needs to be fixed.

Of course, it happens when you're in the middle of dealing with your dad and all... :(
