Most people’s gallbladders have stones or slush ( small stones) in it as they age, the question is are they causing the problems? Are they blocking anything? Is the gall bladder inflamed? If not, I’d get a second opinion, maybe not from someone who takes out gallbladders for a living or at least ask some very pointed questions.
I know a number of people who got their gallbladder out, only to find they still have pain.
I had a convo with the surgeon when it was bad for me. He said, “that’s gotta come out.”

I said, “waddya get paid by the gall bladder.”

He did not appreciate it. But fuck him. I can appreciate decisiveness, but not without helping me understand what why and how.

I went to a different surgeon who helped me understand better. I let him take it out.

It does not mean you’ll always be pain free, and mine acts up occasionally. I just can’t eat high fat foods or a lot of it. Def not fried foods.

I have had on and off pain for a couple months and a couple weeks ago had pancreatitis. I will ask for sure... and i will do some research. I have some level of discomfort or nausea mostly every day. We will see what happens

I fired my first hip surgeon. He lacked the confidence and consistency that one needs in his mechanic. I'd have canned him if he were an auto mechanic, too.

Up. Coffee. Only two nights here this week. Things are beginning to come together on the Dr. Tyler front. We're getting some ride options for her. She's still being resistant and a bit defiant, but a lot of that just means that she's still breathing. Should be an easier weasel day at the weasel palace. We'll see.

Apparently my gall bladder is full of non calcified stones.
Gallstone pancreatitis can kill you... and/or make you very sick. I dont want to get that ever again. She offered admission and i said no because dad was sick.
The surgeon he is referring me too is not a hack. We will see what he says. If we r taking this sucker out lets do it before i have to pay deductible again...just saying

Here's hoping that they can get you in before the end of the year.
