I know the feeling... rubbing like a bear against the door jamb isn't the same.
Neither are the 2 dollar store back scratchers I've had for years... but they get the job done.

I may be weird, but I consider that a good diagnosis... I stay awake from the medical world for the most part, but I look at that as more of a "mechanical issue" which can be remedied!

I look at all these houses at the bottoms of hills, ravines, etc. and all I can think is "Why?"

In our case, it's by the rivers. It's pleasant to have the river running along your back yard, but when the rains come, it will be in your living room!

I'm experimenting w/ making Vanilla Extract
Everything I've read online makes it sound really easy. I have 4 jars slowly aging that so far say otherwise.

I've read to just put the bean pods in vodka and let it sit a bit. I haven't tried it yet. I have so much vanilla here now and my friends keep bringing me back some from Mexico!

I prefer a five gallon bucket to a chair anyway.

I had to buy some new ones at Lowe's after my husband's mysteriously disappeared. I used one to sit on when I was weeding my giant pots.

It rained all day in MI. Also lots of wind and turned cooler.

It's been raining here a lot, too. My deck is littered with needles and pinecones.

She was. She lived in Oakland CA then to Alaskas and finally settled for retirement near Spokane WA. Lots of fun memories.
