Absolutely! Yesterday was busy with a walk, brunch with friends and her college age children who are so interesting and fun. Then a marathon session of laundry while watching several football games.

The challenge today is to stay busy.

You could have come over here! I would have done your nails!

I was up at 0900 () this morning. How do you daytime people even DO this?!?! The licensed electrician came to see where I want new outlets for my cabinet project. Then I worked on my nails a bit, prepping them. I'm helping a friend with a project so spent the afternoon doing that.

Tomorrow is gym. Wednesday, I will probably paint. I'm pretty close to being done in my powder room. I'm ready to wrap that project!

My doc called me. He is referring me to surgeon. Apparently my gall bladder is full of stones

So there is that

Most people’s gallbladders have stones or slush ( small stones) in it as they age, the question is are they causing the problems? Are they blocking anything? Is the gall bladder inflamed? If not, I’d get a second opinion, maybe not from someone who takes out gallbladders for a living or at least ask some very pointed questions.
I know a number of people who got their gallbladder out, only to find they still have pain.

The prep is much worse than the procedure. One minute they're starting your IV, the next they're bugging you to wake up from that lovely sleep!

They usually give propofol which acts quickly but wears off just as quickly. Few side effects.

Yeah. What’s funny is that it hurt a little bit. Then a little while down the road all sorts of ailments started in. Hips, knees, heels, toe cramps etc……

Yeah. If your feet hurt, it messes up everything upstream.

I may be weird, but I consider that a good diagnosis... I stay awake from the medical world for the most part, but I look at that as more of a "mechanical issue" which can be remedied!

It is. We don't really need our gallbladder. They're a bit superfluous like the appendix.

She had pancreatitis just a short while ago. One of the causes is blockage of the pancreatic duct by gallstones at the common bile duct.

I had this years ago and was extremely sick with it. My gallbladder is out; I've had no trouble.

My god Lili….. you were up at 9.00 …. I feel your pain and such a busy day, you must be exhausted. Perhaps an early night may not be amiss.
