Excel is a finnicky tool. It works, until it doesn't.

Lotus 1-2-3 was the first broadly-used spreadsheet program on PC. Several of its oddities remain in Excel today for 'backwards compatibility'

In excel 1995 to access Hall of Tortured Souls: (A first-person maze game where you can find the names of the developers on the walls) select the cells A1:L10, and press Tab. Then, hold down Ctrl + Shift and click the help button.

Not sure if that sequence still works.
