Everything Baseball

Sasaki was a starter, got injured and lost confidence/control, rehabbed, fixed, and obviously isnt yet superior to Snell/Yoshi/Ohtani/Glasnow...so between him and Kershaw/Sheehan and then a few others that may be ok like Vesia, Wrob, Casparius...and now Sasaki...I am feeling ok. I will only truly get worried when Treinen comes in.
Yes, he was on the IL for months. Seems all better now, although he didn't pitch all that well tonight. ...And yes, Treinen relieved him and almost gave away the farm (again).

If anyone knows the history of the Brewers, they should be pulling for a Seattle/Milwaukee World Series with the marketing stunt of the Brewers coming out for the first Seattle game wearing the Pilots uniform.

Dodgers made many mnistakes tonight

1. Left countless runners on base...should have won that game like 6-1...but ok, that happens
2. Taking Snell out when he was freaking COOKING...but ok, Sasaki had been money the last few games...so, ok...
3. Sasaki didnt have it tonight, but again, that happens sometimes...again, happens. He mightve still got three outs but..fair enough

but

4. Putting in the second worst pitcher on the Dodgers into the game, to get two outs and clinging on? Vedsia was warming up. He may not be elite but he is generally dependable! Treinen is dependable to lose the game!

Thats the type of move thats unforgivable.
The Dodgers led the league in being walked off this year because of Tanner Scott and Blake Treinen (and Yates but not the main perp here)
Theyve blown sooooo many games (I think it was like 12 or 13 games).

Everyone seems to love Dave Roberts. He was terrific last year with his pitching subs, truly masterful in the WS.
But this year and every other year aside from 2024, I want to smash his head in.

and for the record my brother nearly called it (and I agreed):

I am more pissed about that move than actually happy we won.

That's right! I remember some people in Seattle talking about the Pilot days when I lived there.

It would be odd if the Pilot/Brewers won the series in the same year the Sonics/Thunder won the NBA title.

Well, the M's are two games away from getting this fucking monkey off their back, so we're almost there. Brewers had a knock down drag out with the Dodgers. That series could be as tense as the M's/Tigers. We'll find out tomorrow.

I'm really hoping the M's and the Brewers end up in the WS. I'd love for the M's to take the next two in Seattle. This city would go nuts!

I'm frankly surprised Toronto hasn't been hitting well. I thought game 1 for sure would be all Toronto with 15 innings and travel the previous game to win the ALDS.
