There were valid reasons. Most of them would end up being economic as in reduce travel, different fan bases, cities with two teams etc. Bud was just in charge but the owners drive the show.

Don't think they can take the Dodgers in a world series match-up, but maybe the Brewers.

The Mariners are the local team for here so lots of excitement for them.
Brewers and Blue Jays are always teams I've casually enjoyed.

I am rooting for the Brewers. I am a big fan of Rhys Hoskins. I am sorry he got hurt, he was a good guy and did well when here in Philly.Guess I’ll root for the Brewers as I loved Bob Uecker.

I lived in Seattle briefly and somehow it was long enough to make me an M's fan. I've lived in LA most of my life but never became a Dodger fan (although it's fun to see the city get a little fired up). I got nothing against Jays or Brewers.
I guess I could live with any outcome, but I'd at least like to see Mariners get to their first World Series. And if Dodgers make it, I'll scrounge around and see if I can finagle a ticket to a home game.

Would love to see Seattle being they never won a Division title, but Toronto is a damn good team. Then For sure Mil. Brewers. Then I don't care who wins the World Series.

Am I the only person from LA/rooting for the Dodgers on Lit? Haha...
GO DODGERS...and truthfully, I dont mind any of the other teams, so if Toronto/Seattle/Milwaukee wins...good for them.
Once the Yankees and our loser little brothers lost, it was all good.
Technically, my best male friend is from Milwaukee, so Id be happy for him.
Seattle hasnt ever been, so itd be historic.
Toronto is my AL team...but fuck George Springer (and any/all Houston ASStros players...ie, when Detroit lost fuck AJ Hinch). so I am having a tough time rooting for the Jays because of Springer.

I went to the Dodgers/Mariners games a couple weeks ago up there in Seattle. Great stadium, food, atmosphere. Ill be pulling for you over Toronto and Milwaukee if it goes that way!
That all said, I do think the Dodgers are the best team...on paper. If Ohtani starts hitting, and/or our bullpen doesnt self-destruct, we should be a pretty darn tough out...but ya never know, all four teams left are terrific.
