I do love a good plate of biscuits and gravy!! However, my question is that if you do like them, do you split your biscuits open or do you leave them whole and just pour the gravy over them?

I like to cut mine in half and ladle on the gravy and then splash hot sauce on the top.

The reason I ask is when looking for a pic, I noticed the gravy just poured on top ...

One thing I also do if I go to a restaurant that does pour the gravy on is that I do put some of the eggs with the gravy as well.
My current favorite dine in place, besides here of course, splits the biscuits.
