This thread will be updates related to the war between Hamas and Israel. The other thread on the topic was focused on Biden's foreign policies. This is related to political and military happenings by those involved as well as reaction from the International community.

Starting off, the immediate actions of Israel against Hamas. (I support the destruction of Hamas)

Thinking about the victims of October 7th—the murdered children, the shattered families, the starving hostages who haven’t seen sunlight for two years.

I’m hopeful the attack on Gaza City will finally bring an end to this horrible war.

Act

Actually for a fair amount of time they were pretty chill. There is a reason why Jewish people were fleeing Europe to the Middle East specifically to what formerly Israel. However since I'm constantly told different versions of "All people conquered foreign lands back in the day. We're not giving this back. So I don't really understand Germans attempting genocide justified punishing Palestine for something they had nothing to do with.
Yes, act and send money to Israel to help them bomb Gaza!

My fury over the heinous 10/7 attack and the complete lack of caring demonstrated by the pro-"Palestine" crowd has NOT abated one bit.

🤬

I cannot imagine what those hostages are going through, and their families don’t have it much better.

🌷

Here hoping that the Hamas animals find their humanity and lose their genocidal hate. Hamas accepting a WORSE deal than what President Biden had negotiated a year and a half ago would be infuriatingly frustrating, but at this point the madness needs to end (though I have ZERO confidence that Hamas is negotiating in good faith and that a peace deal is actually imminent).

😑

We. Told. Them. So.

Hamas is trying to drag out negotiations—claiming in will take “months” to find the hostages. 🙄 They’ve all but abandoned the genocide claim. No victim of a genocide has ever dragged out negotiations that could stop it. The Zionists actually made a deal with the Nazis to save 60,000 Jews from the camps. They didn’t hold out for better terms, they saw an escape hatch and took it.

Yeah, fuck this noise.
Trump needs to stick to his guns.

This was the problem with getting Trump involved in the negotiations. He’s a limp noodle and chickens out when things get tough.

I understand why Netanyahu wanted the United States on board, but I hope he will stick to the essential points of any peace plan: the hostages returned and Hamas out of power.

Gonna jump into this wonderful (🤣) thread to express my gratitude to 47 for pushing this deal and getting it done.

I'm not suggesting this is a solid deal...we shall see. But if the hostages are returned. If the peace holds for this first stage, he absolutely deserves credit.

I'm not going to argue about anything on this. I just am grateful that the peace is possibly moving ahead.
