I listened to her introducing the tracks off of Showgirl. I was never a big fan, but ended up listening to her / reading her lyrics when I was writing Twelve Months as the protagonist is a Swifty / Swiftie / Swiftee (delete as applicable).

My overwhelming feeling was, girl, for a woman who has everything, you sure don’t sound happy about it. She seemed almost bored.

I dont know Taylor Swift, don't follow her exploits etc. I dont hate her, and she's had a couple of songs I found catchy, but overall she's not what I listen to. Im not her demographic.

But she's an artist. And with that comes ego and the trappings of fame and fortune.

As Freddie Mercury so eloquently put it:
