It's soup season, baby!

I'm basic. I really enjoy when the Han Solo outfits come out (leggings, puffy vests, ugg boots).
I'm a sucker for scarves, gloves, and beanies.

Of course I do.

I am deep in autumn colors right now. I am fortunate enough to experience all four seasons where I am.

I am very into Giant pumpkins and participate in some activities associated around that.

I've carved exactly one pumpkin in my life. The activity doesn't really appeal to me. I just did the traditional jack-o'-lantern

The spiders have moved in for the season and I'm leaving the cobwebs up because we have a bit of a fruit fly problem. The spiders help keep them at bay.

I love it! I'm pretty hard to scare but when it happens (in a fun way) it's the best.

I worked in them, a proper scary one, and I loved it.

I like both but scaring someone else (consensually) is a particular kind of fun. I was never the jump scare/chase you with a chainsaw girl but I leaned into being very creepy and unnerving. It's crazy what some face paint and an 8 ft snake can give you permission to do. I'm not intimidating in real life but I have some excellent stories from that time.

I do. My spouse is great fun to spook. This will be the thing that gets me divorced.

What movie scared you the most?

Embarrassing answer when I was six or seven my friend's brother showed up Puppetmaster 4 - It's B movie schlock but the pictures from it give me the heebie-jeebies to this day. When I was older, I saw the re-release of The Exorcist in theaters. First time I saw that movie and it lived up to its reputation.

What scary movie do you enjoy?

This is a long list. The Shining is a beautiful nostalgic movie that I revisit every year. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre gives me the creeps. Hereditary had themes that really resonated with me. I like complicated horror with deep themes and I think recent horror have far surpassed the slashers of the 70's and 80s - Sinners, It Follows, Get Out and Talk To Me.

I'd love to not be skeptic. Let's go!
