I was fully on board with President Biden cutting off those 2,000 lb dumb bombs to Israel, forcing humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza, pressuring Netanyahu into hostage / ceasefire agreements, and a two state solution (that is NOW off the table due to the escalation over the last eight months DURING the DonOld Trump administration), etc.

I would also have FULLY SUPPORTED Kamala Harris and her policies involving Israel / Gaza / the entire region (because Kamala Harris would have been operating within a consensus government that considered input from divergent voices, and then Kamala Harris would have made the best - NOT PERFECT - call).

My personal opinions on Israel
/ Gaza / the entire region, and my sometime cynical satirical posts on the matter here on the PB are a result of the 2024 election that saw Arab / Muslim "Americans" (and their allies) VOTE FOR DONOLD TRUMP & THE MAGAT REPUBLICANS or undermine Kamala Harris and the decent (NOT PERFECT) Democrats.

Much has changed in the eight or nine months (and going on a year if you start at the day of the 2024 election results) of DonOld’s second reign, so my views and attitudes have changed with the times and recent developments.

No need to go overboard on generalizing that people who criticize Netanyahu's war crimes against children, women, and other non-combatants do not also recognize the original crimes committed by Hamas.

You hyperventilate and CAPITALIZE a lot, and that makes you less receptive to other viewpoints-- very Trumpian. And, I don't care how many times you basically say "I told you so" at the end of your posts.

It's also a very Trumpian thing for you to insist that you are always right and immediately insult anyone who disagrees with you.

I was more or less referring to Ben Gvir and Smotrich who cloak themselves in Judaism but are basically radical right wing ultranationalists (See also: DonOld & the MAGAt republicans who cloak themselves in "Christianity" but are basically radical right wing ultranationalists).

I would absolutely agree that those who could be identified as “TRUE ADHERENTS of radical Islam” and “TRUE ADHERENTS of radical Christianity” are a whole different breed than ultra Orthodox Jews when it comes to their ideas on "manifest destiny".

How do you not see that my posting style is partially performative cynical satire / parody that borrows from multiple sources???



Gavin Newsom has recently started doing what I have been doing for YEARS here on the PB with his appropriation of DonOld’s posting style (although I believe I do it in a much more cynical and biting manner while deconstructing my biased extremist targets).

I am basically hurling mocking scorn and derision at extremists / extremism originating from any and all points of view. (I actually believe in “the middle way” and consider myself a pragmatic progressive centrist who sees the danger from extremists at both ends of the political spectrum who are more alike than different in maaaaaany ways).

The moment I detect that someone has abandoned objectivity and fact based evidence in favor of emotion and appeals to emotion, then they become fair game.

If a biased extremist ascribes some bullshit position to me, then I do get a bit more combative and pointed with my comments, but it is NOT coming from any arrogance on my part, but rather, it is coming from annoyance & indignation at being falsely accused of something.
