Why shouldn't we be discussing this? When I say that we should be discussing this I acknowledge that there are many black men who are responsible husbands and fathers. I have known them, often as friends. They deserve to be respected. The others do not merit respect.

Words change their meaning over time. A racist used to be one who hated nonwhites simply because they were not white. Now a racist is one who expects nonwhites to behave and perform well.
