perfect weather
had some AMAZING shakshuka and sausages at Lola Cafe in Seattle
bought a few tees at uniqlo
couple of great games, both wins for the Dodgers
everyone pleasant (fans, people on the street etc) except the Link (light transit) was packed Sat night after the Mariners, Washington, Sounders matches...so much that there was super uncomfortable pressing of bosies into me (and many other ppl)...lukcily only a couple stops to go to get off the freakin thing
anyway, exhausted...and got a lil case of the sniffles
time for some beauty rest
thanks for everyone's well wishes, kind words, and more (havent read any dms yet though)

My last experience being near there was after the Seahawks preseason game to see a .....friend.
The streets were crowded. The roads I needed to take were closed off.
When I found parking, I accidently stepped in something.
Yeah....I'm not much of a city guy.
To be honest, I've only been to Seattle more in recent history for my kid.

She's gonna cause quite a stir.
Three of the main roads into Seattle are going to be restricted.
Two sold out Mariners baseball games against her Dodgers.
The University of Washington is hosting #1 Ohio State.
Thankfully, the Seahawks played yesterday.
But it will be biiiiiizzy.

We took the Link and then walked. Easy peasy. Except the line to get in was insanity. Two playoff teams. Last games of the season. Ohtani/Dodgers factor. Twas crazy.

Yeah the guy next to me was dying to see 61 for Cal. That St game, he had 3 or maybe 4 strikeouts though.
Saw 9 straight Ks for thge Dodger relievers which...knowing the Dodgers bullpen this season, was NOT on my bingo card. Some record since like 1920 or something I saw?!
Also Harry Ford's first career hit.
Ohtani hit his 55th.
Kershaw's final regular season start.
Good times.

Not really a baseball fan, kind of fell out of keeping up to date with it when I moved to Ireland due to the time difference. I do know my Blue Jays stumbled into the playoffs in the #1 spot in the American League... I say stumble, because they had a big lead and blew it.
However, I say all this because I know that you Kit are a Dodgers fan and I have a bit of Dodger trivia for you ... On this day in 1976 the Dodgers hired the great Tommy Lasorda as their manager.
