Cut the power to the bathroom, unscrew the switch plate, make sure all wires are snug on their post, retighten screws of said post, and screw switch plates back on.

If my unclear as fuck explanation doesn't help. It's a fairly common problem and shouldn't be too hard to look up.

On the other hand, wires coming loose isn't always the problem, sometimes the light switch goes bad and needs replacing, and other times the problem is deeper than that. Or, it might be the light fixture or bulbs... Or some annoying combination of multiple problems.

I once had a light start fritzing out because a spider put their egg sack where the power goes from the roof to the light fixture. D= I whimpered and squealed like a baby while taking care of that, cause I'm the only mechanically inclined person in this house, and I've got more than a bit of a fear of spiders. Also I wore like three pairs of gloves, and long sleeves, and used the longest handled tools that I could get away with.

I'll try as you suggested. I bet there is a wire loose because there's an exhaust fan on the same switch, and it works. And sometimes, you can jiggle the switch for the light, and it'll flicker a bit.

If I can't figure it out, that's what work orders are for, lol.

Biggest safety tip, and I cannot stress this enough, I've known too many smart people who forget it, is to make sure to cut the power before messing with anything electric.

I haven't taken the time to even look at it yet. I don't think I'll be able to see what I'm doing well enough to fix it, tbh. I'll put in a work order for the rental company to fix it today.

Y'all, I'm trying so hard to stay positive, but I'm so behind financially. And I just feel like ass. I'm tired all the time. Not so much sleepy anymore, just tired and brain foggy. It makes it extremely hard to work like I need to because, once again, my brain feels like it's swimming slowly through molasses.

Rationing meds again, too, because I can't pay for them. Constant high blood pressure headache (which I can't take anything for because otc headache meds can raise your blood pressure even more). Lack of motivation due to lack of psych meds. And God knows what my blood sugar is doing right now.

It's gotta get better sometime, right? (If about $1200 would fall from the sky, it'd help tremendously.)

I'm about to go log in, in spite of molasses brain. I'm also running a sale on blogs for other PSOs. I'm not sure what else to do at the moment.

So I didn't stroke out from the high BP yesterday, thankfully. The headache and neck ache are going, mostly, and the other pain I was in yesterday has mostly subsided.

Lesson learned: Next time my BP gets so high, I'll try to take a nap.

Got my BP meds today, my metformin for diabetes, and one of my psych meds I was out of (Wellbutrin). Still don't have the Abilify, but the Pristiq is doing most of the heavy lifting, psych med-wise, so maybe I can get it next week.

Another day where I feel decent. Unfortunately, everything in the world has gone wrong today, lol. (I won't bore you with my litany of small problems.) But it's been extremely annoying.

I'm soaking in the bath at the moment. When I get out, I'm gonna do my Navratri puja (Hindu ritual worship), get a cup of coffee, and go to work. Hopefully, the Universe will make it a profitable night to make up for what a bitch this day has been, lol.

So I found some batteries for my blood pressure cuff and took it last night when I had another one of those headaches (though not nearly as severe as Tuesday). As expected, BP was elevated, but not to like crisis mode numbers. I have to wonder just how high it was Tuesday, though.

I've been researching, and I think the culprit may be the Pristiq. Both it and Wellbutrin are known to raise your bp. But my current med cocktail was enough to keep it down with just the Wellbutrin. But Pristiq was added, and now it's not enough anymore.

I'm thinking I'm going to contact the doctor's office about it Monday. I'll continue to monitor it over the weekend so I'll have some numbers to give them.
