I've been called a militant atheist, I consider religion and belief in a god complete silly nonsense, but I still fully support the freedom for holding those beliefs. To the point I'd see no problem and even advocate using force to protect those exercising having their own beliefs.

Atheists such as myself and theists can and will battle out our differences in opinions/beliefs in civil open dialogue, discussion and debate.

Exactly what Charlie Kirk did, hence my sincere respect for what he did and deep sadness what happened to him, despite him being quite far from many of my core positions.
