Doctor Love - Split Enz
An obscure but well written and tightly produced song by New Zealand's Split Enz. 'Doctor Love' was written by Neil Finn, who dissolved the band and then went on to found Crowded House after the 'See Ya Round' album that this song appeared on. Crowded House fans will recognise lots of Neil's songwriting trademarks here.

The whole genre of opera would fit into this category. My current favorite is soprano Federica Lombardi. They don't have anything against her, specifically; they're just not opera people.

Way back in the day, a music school friend introduced this to me as the 'worst album ever made.' I bought it, and played it while I was doing housework, and I grew to love it.
Critics at the time labelled it as 'punk jazz.'
I don't know another human being who will listen to more than 30 seconds of any song.
I honestly believe that this band is the inspiration for the 'South Park' theme.

I view it as Magnificent Musical Mayhem.

My folks are a little bit older. So their era was earlier than the Doors -- 50's and early 60's.Wow, I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like the Doors. Maybe it’s the class of people I hang out with….like my parents.
